Anyone know when the login problems started?

Should be interesting what the next spreadsheet line reports in terms of inworld transactions for the week of the 05/15

First report was /111/4e/45796/1.html or May 11

Release on may 16/17 seem to fix the problem.

So, my guess is that the entry on 05/15 should be roughly equal to what we see on 05/08 with 05/22 hopefuly seeing a jump.

Any thoughts?

In fact, just for fun, I'll go out on a limb :)

Object sales for 05/08 were 5916513

I think for 05/15 they'll be about the same, 5916513

05/22 will be 6053032

Anyone else want to put it on the line and make some guestimates?

I won't make an actual guestimate but I will say that I believe strongly that the log-in problems significantly impacted business and sales and we will see a huge dip in in-world sales followed by a spike upwards when the problems were solved.

Fascinating.

The object sales in fact jumped up to a record 6500K

I suspect next week will dip, however. I can only attribute that record to being a result of pent up demand.

Wel from what I have seen since I have been with SL since it came out of beta testing with 1.0, there have always been log in problems. Sometimes its a few minutes or hours, and sometimes, a whole day I wouldn't be able to get on. I do think that logon problems wil affect land sales, or sales of any kind for that matter.

Lets think here for a moment, how many people are on SL? and how many pissed off people do you have when no one can log on? I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out where this is going.
