Well I see the first whole sim auctions are completed now, The Baroney Bid against them selfs. The sims seemed higher in cost
Looks like LL gets a few more bucks per meter with 1/10 the hasle of listing.
What if the barons come together as a colective
didnt see any bids from any build Teams
Thoughts ?

Buy land now before the price goes up.

But they'll learn not to. There is a glut of land - they are stupid to bid against each other and push the price up - they are just increasing each others costs.

Not quite 3 yet. One of these auctions is incomplete. It was offered to me at my max bid price earlier today, rather than rolling back all of the highest bidder's bids, and I passed. This is in accordance with the rules, but I just didn't "get" that rule and thought it would be better for everyone if we went ahead and bid again. I'm not 100% sure if they'll just continue going down the list to the 3rd highest, 4th highest etc, but as best as I can understand it this sim will just come back onto the auction block to be bid on again. Bottom line, I think it's a bit too early on to speculate about what the new auction format will mean to SL and the land/economy. There's obviously been a lot of interesting action on them so far. -Shaun
