I will once again ask, as others have before me:

Can we pretty please loose all the Flash in the forums? I'm sure someone worked very hard on the graphic and the menus and they're very pretty, but they are SLO-HO-HO-HO-OW and a processor hog and increase load times and are basically a force only for evil in the world.

I agree, WG. Anthough the forums load pretty nicely for me, the baggage graphics bug out my browser, causing it to continually pop up the forum pages when I click on a link.

Turning off flash in IE last I checked results in a popup message every time you go to a flash page that says something like "This page uses flash! you don't have flash! the page may not be displayed correctly! Are you sure you want to continue?" and has only one button "Ok.". That gets old before you even click ok once.

I agree with the page needing updated... the same old faces (some of which don't even use the av's pictured anymore) and same information about them is getting boring.... and what is with the resident life page having a "hot forum threads" section.....with threads listed that haven't been posted to in weeks...months???


I can think of a few hot threads that have gone on and on that may deserve a spot in that section.
