Option to make events notified automatically?

dont know if this has been posted but am i the only one who liked the events popping up themselves?
i wouldn't mind seeing a little button with this option on it.
if i want an event now i have to read through whats going on ahead of time. where as before i could just go "hey a avatar contest" *ditches his house and joins the event*

or maybe a little link could pop up and fade away after a couple seconds. like msn members logging on.

I agree completely.

While the current (new) selective notification is useful too, the concept of having to click Notify on events that you don't know about is truly bizzare.

I guess all LL staff must be clairvoyant ...

What I'd love to see along with this is the option to have Notifications sent to my e-mail address 30 minutes before the event. Notification works great if you are in SL all the time; some of us have RL lives to deal with
