Tweak the Inventory UI

My suggestion is this:

Change the UI of the inventory to more closely resemble the old style Windows Explorer interface (folders on the left, files and subfolders on the right).

Currently, dragging files from one folder to the next is a pain and given how very rapidly someone can accumulate assorted knick knacks, it can become quickly overwhelming. Also, add the Cut option to be able to cut and paste instead of just copying and pasting. Mind you, I haven't tested it out, but it could very well be that the Copy option acts a Cut for objects that have the No Copy permission.

Also, others and myself have noted that you can only drag and drop one item at a time into the inventory from an object's contents ... any way of fixing of that would be appreciated.

For the first half of your post, there's a workaround.

Open you inventory, then in the inventory window, click File:New Window. You can have two inventory windows side-by-side on your screen, and drag from one to the other.

As for dragging-and-dropping multiple items at a time, there have been many requests for that over the months. Hopefully if people keep requesting it, it'll get moved up on the features list.

Honestly, how hard would multi-item dragging be to implement?

I believe 1.5 is supposed to have some UI upgrades, and 2.0 is supposed to have *alot*. Thats what I heard.

And yeah I agree with your ideas, theres been alot of good ideas for improvements to the Inventory suggested.
