What I am proposing would probably take a bit of work, adding in a new selectable option upon object/clothing creation to "Allow Texture Extraction."

For all currently created objects, the option would be selected as off by default, unless the following criteria were met.

A: The object's texture is changeable in the first place

B: The object's creator is not listed.

This would allow for most of those free distribution items to be easily fixed, if perhaps the texture is off, or is just generally in need of some fixing of some sort. An example, is a small latex garment that I recieved as a gift. The creator had used a guideline image to create the article, and had (I'm assuming accidentally) left the guideline picture in place. Normally this wouldnt be a problem, but the intended "size" of the object, as well as some extra decoration that it produced on the lower portion of the legs, kept me from using the basic appearance editor from solving the problem. The problem was completely texture related, and the rest of the texture was absolutely fine, save for that minor problem. Thus, my reasons for having a texture extraction option for items, so that one may solve these little problems, pull the texture off the object, download it, throw it into their favourite image editor, and have it their way.

Thank you for your consideration!
