I personally think the far away and high default camera view is a big reason so many things are oversized in Second Life. It would be nice to have the default camera lower, and closer to your avatar. If anything allow 3 default veiws for you to choose from. I would like to build a realistic sized room without having to go into mouselook to prevent the camera from popping out of the room. What do you guys think?

Yes! I'd like a lower view, and a "first person" view that uses the same viewpoint as Mouselook but without changing the user interface.

I'd also like the option of not showing prims that block the view from my camera to my avatar when I'm in the default view, which would do a lot to prevent small places from seeming claustrophobic. Same with Linden Trees, if the tree would block my view of the avatar it should be hidden.

I agree with that, it would be nice to have things be to scale if the camera angle would cooperate.
