Acess to certain Estate management tools for NON owners please.

The ability to Designate a certain group or groups to control specific tools in the ESTATE menu (not only parcels on the estate) Pre selected (by the estate owner with OUT having to group set and/or deed) would be so nice.

1.6 has some good features we have been waiting on seemingly forever

Love that estate owners can deed & undeed to a group at will & that officers of the deeded group can have permission rights on the parcel(s) However for some there are still enough reasons to NOT want to deed their estate but still have the need for others to help manage the estate.

also I think that allowing land to be SET to MORE then one group Even if you're only able to set to an additonal group when deeded by another.
Say group A are owners & want only owners in their group BUT would like to be able to SET group B on the land allowing group B to set objects out while GROUP A is still able to use features like auto return & use their group IM's to privately manage the land, etc.

Another alternative to this that would prolly work well with the new tools in 1.6 is to have a list of individuals that you can *set* like you have an access & ban list. Instead this list will be of individuals that you permit to set objects on your property that will not be returned if you have auto return on.

Even with the new 1.6 tools of being able to return an individuals objects (which is AWESOME ty ty ty) it does NOT adress these other issues.

I would like to endorse this feature despite the fact that none of my current estate tools work at all. If they did, this would be a good addition.

I have to agree that an allowed feature would be nice, I can not always be on my estate to deal with griefers. Because of the size of our group we don't want to make it group deeded it spreads our Daily Lindens for the land Traffic too wide and I use that to pay hired staff weekly, but the Owners/Officers should have more options to at least Bann/Kick Avatars off without adding more active security scripts and Change the Music without having to run to a jukebox.

Our Estate Bann tools are buggy right now too. Kicked someone off the Island 3 times with Kick and Bann and they still came back.

We need more options for Estate tools. Private Sim doesn't seems much more private than a small Parcial at the moment.

The issue with Estate ban I believe was that the Allow list was being parsed before the Ban list. This was corrected in 1.6 IIRC, so in theory perhaps they should not be able to even see the island after banning.

Right. Perhaps they should rethink how the nightly lindens is payed out & as they do for the incentive bonuses, they should maybe pay out to the group members/officers the nightly L$ according to their contribution in allocation to the land. Seems to me that would be fair. That way on an island sim it would be 100% the owners as IMO it should be, after all you are paying 100% for the land that the traffic is on.

Yeah, I have heard this from others as well. The other thing we discovered last week was when you turn invisible on the sim & someone with a landmark overrides the invisibility (even though they are NOT on the access list) The current *solutions* 1) do not allow land marks at all. (which I think is silly because there's such thing as wanting to allow people in at times & easy access while at others times wanting to shut down to work or have privacey on your sim) or 2) Have a script right at the hub that allows you to set an access list. (which seems to defeat the point of sim access//ban tools yes?)
