Not saying I oppose the idea or anything, but why not just contract a clothing designer to make one? Distribute it among live help people with a promise not to abuse it (give away or keep using it if they quit).
Or, make one, give it to a Linden, and let them distribute it appropriately.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Okay, Torley's tangent goes like this: I really like Roseann's idea and I think that while it doesn't constitute a forced "uniform", the choice to wear Live Help t-shirts inworld would be iconic and symbolic and spread awareness of SL's volunteer team. Along these lines, I would like to see more Linden-distro'ed fashions (come Greeter Program, is there gonna be something for that? Badges and buttons? Something?) and either if the shirt is made by a Resident or a Linden, it may help because I notice newcomers reading t-shirts in SL like they might offline. "What is Live Help?" Find out . . .

Thanks for the replys, I would like to see more sl t-shirts and other sl clothing. I also think it would be nice if LD made the Live Help t-shirts so there is no favoritism shown, just a thought though.

Well, first off...

If you see men in real life looking at messages printed on the fronts of t-shirts worn by women, the men are not always reading.
Why a t-shirt? Torley mentioned badges and buttons, but why not a Live Help Dress?
With official live help clothing comes the countefeit live help clothing. This is not an arguement against some Live Help clothing, just a sad thought.
What other groups get cool real world stuff for SL activities?

That's a very good point! Yes, a Live Help Dress! Oooh. Curious today... if anyone's seen Linden Liaisons around, some of them are wearing a particular article of clothing crafted by Brent "on a whim" which I really had to smile at. And yes, this thread is connected. You'll know it if you've seen it!

I'd like to see Live Help propeller hats - and I'd love one to go with my 1st Live Help RL T-Shirt I received months ago.
