i'd like a confirmation dialog box (yes/no) when i pay someone or something and when i drag an object out of my inventory on to a person. also an option to not have a confirmation for each. when i tried to move an object out of my inventory and rez it in the world, it gave the object to a person instead.

*nod* This might be a useful feature if it's settable as an option like you mentioned, because I know of both Residents who are confident enough in their decisions to go forth and throw huge transactions through without a "confirm", and those who would rather play it safe -- and many variations in between. I understand both approaches; that flexibility is part of the joy of SL. I know of some embarassing instances in which a Work-In-Progress got dropped on someone with the wrong perms. :(

if it's optional and defaulted to 'off', sure.

But I really don't want SL to become a sea of dialogues with stupid 'are you sure you wanted to give this thing you just dragged on this person to them? is that really what you meant to do?' confirmations.

It really isn't difficult to find an avatar-free piece of land to pull something out of your inventory to. Though the opposite is sometimes true - people fidget around so much that sometimes you miss them with an inventory offer. Maybe an option to temporarily freeze people while you give them stuff? :p

Yus I wouldn't want it imposed without a choice, because there are some who have to do a lot of transactions and wouldn't want this getting in the way of their business.

The freezing would be harder to implement -- the sensible thing, especially in a crowded club, would be to pull up someone's Profile and drag the item on it. :)
