LSL and Avatar Textures

I'm certain this must have been thought of before, but I didn't find mention of it, so... :D

How about script control of things like the head, upper, and lower body tattoos of avatars? In fact, it'd be interesting if a good number of the texture-control LSL functions could apply to avatar textures.

I imagine avs are a rather different sort of critter in the database than prims are, so I suppose it might not be feasible, but we can dream, right? :D

I endorse this. I can see many uses for this, everything from changing your own outfits on the fly, to trying on clothes before you buy them.

I'd maybe setup some sort of permission, or something simular to the "buy contents" screen, such as "This object wants you to wear the following clothing:" "Allow? Deny?" etc.

I think having animated textures as tattoos would be entertaining. I could finally make my Automan avatar! :D
