Guy hair.

I want to wear a ponytail. I'm a guy, OK, and when a guy wears a ponytail he usually wants it to lie flat against the back. Not poking out the back like Gidget in drag.

If your body is set to "male", then your ponytail should act like a guy's ponytail.

And... male facial hair should act like hair, you know.

And... guys have hair other places than on the head.

I'm just sayin'... I shouldn't have to choose between tats, chest hair, back hair, or realistic skin.

Yeh, there's prim hair. And if you're a hot chick you got all kinds of prim hair to chose from. But nobody seems to have figured out how to do the same for guys.

And what about all the not-hawt girls that want stringy, mousy hair....or thining hair...and what about braces...and bad toupees...is someone doing prim moles with random hair sticking out?

There is actually a few rather nice males ponytails around, I have seen.... I am just a useless person at this moment to say from where they got them since I'm a girl, I know Gene Jacobs has some. But there is! All hope is not lost! Yay for long haired guys!

Robin Sojourner has the most realistic pony tails for guys I've found...

and Panache has some more fanciful, windblown ponies for guys that are bearable, if primmy...

But for the love of Mike, this stuff should all be in the AV. Particularly the hair styles.

I have been trying to find a male ponytail for awhile now. None of them seem acceptable. Making one looks pathethic too. I will have to explore a bit more to find one I like.

Guess what: ponytails don't work on guys IRL either. It's just a mullet that you wrapped a string around. If the guys who wear ponytails could actually see how they looked, then they wouldn't wear them.

My ponytail looked great, especially after I got it down to my butt.

Got too hot to wear in the summer, though.

The tight ponytail poking out of the back of the head? That doesn't look good on guys or gals. I don't know what Linden Labs was thinking of when they made it.

I don't have a mullet.

Guys look great in long hair.

One of the distinguishers may be that a mullet has a "choppier" look to it, including the spikes in front, while a ponytail, like its name, is intended to be more flowing.

Mullets can be done well too--David Bowie with his "hypermullet" in Labyrinth, ja?

Also, nothing says you're a gangster thug and/or curator of marvellous arts like having a ponytail...
