Sometimes, for whatever reason you get logged off the game. Do you really have to shut down the program and restart it to log back on? You have the option to stay in the UI and browse chat history and use the menus... why can't there be a "FILE -> LOG IN", flushing all past data the UI might have of your whereabouts and starting all over??
Anyone thinks this is useful?

ME! I'm beginning to lose a bit of interest because I'm into scripting, and the constant relogging is just such a pain. I would LOVE to see this happen.

For example... if you Idle out... why must you shut down the UI and restart it. Why's this? And I still see it questionable that you must also restart UI for certain video prefs changes.

Even games published by multi-million dollar companies have certain graphics settings that require you to restart the client in order for them to take effect. SL is only different in that it's a program unlike any other, and as such has special requirements. (Though what unique requirements it does have are quite few.)

Thanks for pointing it out. But what about the timeout logins?
