Are there any plans for supporting an Ageia PhysX PPU Card? Or is it basically not possible because all object physics is rendered on the SL servers?

There's an idea... support and kit the servers out with physics cards?

If they impliment support for them it would be server only since all get is the changes to the world. Though if they did impliment it on the server side and actualy used them then i think some of the sim's would run faster due to the shift of the physics off the cpu

Giving the client physics capability might help reduce rubberbanding, but it wouldn't really take a lot of computationally intensive work to do that, so I doubt there's enough you could do usefully on that side to make it worthwhile. Adding them to the servers? That won't be useful until well after Havok 2/3/4 gets integrated... again...
