Have a world like the preview world where poses, textures and anyting else that mignt need to be check out, can be before uploading into the game. You dont have to have a database to store items. The item can be deleted on exit.

Uhh... why not just do it in the Preview grid? It's not like you use the money there for anything useful anyways.
