Dressing Rooms

I have big a problem with clothes not rezzing fully. It's frustrating to have bought a video card with 256M memory that allows everything around me to rez, but not the clothes on my back.

Through random teleporting at great effort and much expended time I found a low-detail piece of land that I could go to to use as a "dressing room", and had some success with clothes rezzing *somewhat* more successfully, but now the owner doesn't want visitors.

I'd like some place I can go where the clothes on my back take first priority in rezzing. Some place I can try on clothes to see what they look like.

You know, a dressing room.

1) I propose anyone be able to go to a private, zero-detail, virtual non-grid space where their avatar, clothing and attachments are the *only* things that get rezzed.

2) This would be a good place for try-before-you-buy items, which would *only* rez in one of these dressing rooms, until you pay for them.

I'm going to create a voting proposal for this.

Dressing room in Collozzeum Club

I also looked for a dressing room. A search turned up the Collozzeum Club. When I got there, it did not exist but the owner was there at the time. When I told her what I wanted, she graciously created one! Very nice of her and a very good job. Visit the Collozzeum Club and tell her you appreciate it. On second floor.

Dressing room in New Citizens Plaza

You won't find this in a search but there is a very nice dressing room in the New Citizens Plaza. You Teleport into it and teleport out back to the Plaza. Supposedly has one-way glass. Nice room, no furniture. Perfect for changing clothes in privacy.
