Object management

I've attempted to find any posts on this subject, but I've not found any, at all at this point. I'd like a way to find all objects that you currently own, that are rezzed, no matter where they may be, and then to be able to return your own objects remotely. I.e. a search-type window that checks an object datastructure (be it a single prim, or multiple) for the instance flag indicating that it is currently rezzed, and then giving both a location and an option to return it to your inventory.

I believe this would help in a number of ways. Several times I've been flying around SL, and hit by security systems (in spite of the fact I was at a fairly good altitude) and been unable to retrieve my craft. As well, several times at altitude, I was building in skyboxes, and lost small prims, and been utterly unable to find them. They're littering someone's property somewhere.

In several cases I've left objects for people's use as well, and been unable to remember where their property was. *grins wryly* As yet, none of these objects have been returned, so I've almost got to assume they're either still in use, or lost in one of the various primitives issues across a month or two.

Many times i do script and testing objects. The my script goes wrong and my 'Bunchs' of objects fled away from me. Not to say all of them are laggy to the sim, and there're more than a few of them :/

Funny you should suggest this now, as I logged on to this forum to do just that.
I want to be able to return my own objects without IMing every sim owner and ask them to return it for me.
Like you, I sometimes let ppl borrow my stuff, and dont remember where I left it.
Like you, I lose small items.
Also, I know ppl that have left their stuff at a lovers place, built a home together, and then with a nasty breakup, they find themselves banned and unable to get their things back.

So, can we please? Get an option to return our own objects?

I need this too... if I make the mistake of changing location instead of size one more time...
