Would be nice for vendor scripts and casino games if we could present a user with custom payment options instead of the fixed choice of 5, 10, 15, or 20 linden bucks. The llPayDialog script call would be similar to llDialog but not use a listener. It would simply trigger the money event as the fixed dialog does now.

I don't know what this about (this is why I need to learn scripting), but I trust you eggy.. Approved! Or.. Seconded! Or whatever I'm sposed to say..

It's simple. When you right-click on an object and select "Pay..." from the pie menu, you are always presented with a builtin "quick pay" menu with 4 default choices: $5, $10, $15, $20 Also, a text box lets you specify other amounts. I want to be able to change those numbers to match the price of what I'm selling and remove invalid options from it. More user friendly that way.

And you explained it in a way that I could understand, you deserve an award

Um... How is this different from the new function in 1.7 that does the same thing?

llSetPayPrice in 1.7 has the following nifty features: - Set the price of any of the quick pay buttons - Set the default price for the text entry pay field - Hide any or all of the quick pay buttons - Hide the text entry pay field
Is there a feature it is missing that you are looking for?
