Currently, there is a serious problem with sleeves in SL. They are identical. This means you can't have a shirt made with different sleeves, or have writing on a sleeve (mirror effects). A slightly less well known problem is that the texture resolution on sleeves, especially on the shoulders, is quite low, so even at normal viewing distances, designs on the shoulder of a shirt can look pixellated.
I believe the solution would be to have a new template file to render the shirt sleeves. This would allow the sleeves to be drawn in a higher resolution, reducing the pixellated shoulder effect, but more usefully for designers, allow each sleeve to have a different design, opening up the design possibilities tremendously.
Who's with me on this?

Yeah I've seen the neck too (front and the back are not the equal of collar or turtle neck. Also, if making a bikini, bra or whatever.. the straps goes crooky. :/ I love Secondlife, the building and all are SO great so far but... an avatar. :/ Please do not take an offense.. It is just me who see the difference, could be only me who see that much clear like a crystal. I don't think that they would correct the body, I mean it would be NICE if they do that someday... or upload our own body meshes in sl world would be so dreamy! Otherwise if they refuse to upgrade... you know I can live with that. At least I tried my best, my friends. see bottom as an example. Click here to see the picture Need fix: Upper chest, shoulders, better cleavage and upper butt that needs to be flatter. Take care, ~Xia

I want to upload my own skeletons as well as meshes. Yes, I know, I'd have to provide ALL my own animations for a custom skeleton, but being able to attach custom animations to a skeleton is another missing feature...
Also... the jacket should be a separate mesh like the skirt, and you should be able to pull the skirt arbitrarily close to the convex hull of the body mesh... there's all kinds of skirts and skirt-based clothes that appear incredibly goofy because the "beltline" can't be brought in contact with the avatar.
