Shortcuts / Links in Inventory

Can we have a means to link a no-copy object in one folder to another folder? This would allow creation of avatar folders including a mix of attachments and clothing without having to have copy rights on every item and every enclosed script. Also, it would allow configuration information in an object to be maintained across all instances, rather than being duplicated. I guess it would also save on data storage. Deleting a root no-copy object of such a link(s) could delete all the associated links in the inventory, perhaps with a warning to the user.

This seems like a much more straightforward and flexible version of Prop 737. I've suggested the same thing, but hadn't actually made a proposal. I would suggest making this a proposal and seeing if it can be merged with 737.

I love this idea! I rarely wear an outfit the way it was intended. I tend to mix and match to create my own unique look. This feature would help me build outfits from various items stored in different folders.

One request though ... make it obvious, through the use of color or an icon, that an item is a shortcut.
