There's plenty of joke and funny threads that really ought to have their own forum.
Often times they're cluttering up regular forums.

From: Willow Zander clutter... our threads are CLUTTER to you?!?! hiro.. you sadden me, now my day.. can only get worse Willow, it's very obvious that some people on the forums consider that anything they didn't say themselves to be superfluous and invalid, so of course they're going to want the 'clutter' tucked out of the way so they can get on with their inane arguments, word twisting and clever put downs more efficiently without sifting through the 'clutter' first. And some just need to develop a sense of humor. I suggest a counter measure; all these people with huge ego's and obvious grudges against particular forum members and anything they try to say or do should take their pissing matches to a 'pissing match' forum where they can just kick each other repeatedly in the crotch all day without fear of interruption. That'd sort a lot of the clutter, too. Oh. That's a vote against, btw.

I'm not talking about removing humor from threads, I'm talking about removing specifically humor threads from normal forums.

From: Hiro Pendragon I'm not talking about removing humor from threads, I'm talking about removing specifically humor threads from normal forums. Well, I feel the same way about pissing contests. So many threads are started for that reason. But it's true; invariably most threads degenerate into either pissing matches because all the usual ego's have waded in and none of them could possibly ever concede a point to 'the other side', or humor because it has got beyond ridiculous. Or both, as people make fun of those having the pissing matches.

Or both, as people make fun of those having the pissing matches. And then we could use the phrase "Hey, take it to the (pissing contest forum / humor forum) if it gets out of hand" So let's do both.
