I have a great avatar lots of people think so but my name always floats at about eye level
on my av. I've gone to a lot of trouble to get my eyes to actually look in the direction of the nearest Avatar to me. I've added eyebrows that move using gestures. Written gestures that tip my hat even. but when I ask can you see my eyes? They respond with wait a sec your names in the way let me turn off names and see, well that's a bit much to expect from anyone would it be a lot of trouble to set the names a little higher like a line or 2 above where they are now or if you make your head very small use that as a clue that the name needs to be higher because the tiny head will probably be inside a prim one?

Mmm...I see. Someone want the name higher, another want it lower. Post in the same day, nearly the same hour :p :D

Basicly I like it higher as well, but you see the problem now :D

It's not an issue of moving Av names higher or lower, it's an issue of turning off your own av name (meaning if other people do it, it doesn't interfere with your animations).
Moving av names lower applies to everyone else's av names.

Or perhaps instead of setting it a certain level above the top of your av, setting it a certain level above the highest attached prim? Then again, you also have the problem of those humongous dragon avs, and you'd never be able to see their names without staring up at the ceiling. lol Can't win em all, I guess.
