Situation:
SL works better with newer drivers (in general, assuming the vendor
doesn't screw the drivers up)
The SL client has a hardware checking process
ATI has a feed for their driver updates (I'm guessing others could or
would do things like this)

Suggestion:

1) Build a feed reader into the client- it would check at startup and
during running and notify the user immediately of updates via llLoadURL()
2) Build a feed reader into the server- it'd do the same as a client
side reader, but only run on startup during the upgrade check cycle methinx.

Basically, if the client was aware of when updates were released and
where they could be found, I would imagine "upgrade your drivers" Live
Help responses would be lowered, taking out a step of the trouble
shooting process.

Please Vote if you want an easier way to keep on top of your hardware driver updates :)
