Same here... And as much as it's been happening lately I came here to suggest a new feature... One that pays us back... Now don't get me wrong... I'm not flaming LL at all... They are doing the best they can... But in light of the current events... I think it's time we ask for something back...

Too many times we have been told... I'm sorry there was an error and we can't help you... Most of us are paying for this service that they provide... And in paying for any service when the service is sub par we should recieve some kind of compensation should we not??? I'm sure this has come up before... I just thought I would get some impressions of what you think should happen... I myself have found ways around having to pay Linden Labs... At the time of my change I had decided that some of their tactic's were less than professional and I'll just leave it at that... So why am I here saying the things that I am??? Well I want Second Life to be a great place... And I want it to strive to be a great service... When you get your car fixed... If it breaks soon after you get it fixed you take it back and they take a hit and use labor and their own parts to repair it... As they see it as thier fault... With SL you purchase something (Yes it may have a fictional existance, but) you recieve your object for your use... I mean you spent your money on it did you not??? Now if say you go to use it one day and SL happens to crash at the same time well there's a big possibility you might lose it... Now that's not your fault... You can't control the asset servers or the SIM's that you "exist" on... So who's fault is it??? Well the way it is now... It's no one's fault... So LL get's away with not paying for more programers to fix the problem and they get away with not having to compensate you for your loss... And now that LL controls the Lindex the value of a Linden in their eyes has an innate (spelling?) value... Otherwise why would they charge you for more Lindens... So your out of your item... And LL is sitting pretty not having to do anything but apologize...

Now don't get me wrong... I'm not saying that LL is the devil... But when you have 170,000+ registered Accounts (which I'm sure more than half were actually paid for and not free) also you sell land at $195US a month per island plus the initial $1000US cost to create it... Your telling me that you can only have a handful of Programmers to fix the things that are broken... And just as I've seen before in the Forums there is generally more programmer's working on new features than there are fixing problems... I understand the predicament they are in... And I don't in anyway want to see them suffer... But a deal is a deal... Our deal to them was to purchase an exclusive membership... But with this membership you get slow speeds... Constant problems... Lost items that were paid for... Now I understand that everyone has problems... But when you do... Should we not recieve compensation for the errors made on their part???

Well my novel is over... Remember this is just a question... And I don't in anyway hate SL... It's a great place... I just think that SL wouldn't be what it is now if it wasn't for the 170,000+ resi's... I'm just one that thinks it's time we get back what we've paid in... Lemme know what you think...
