I'd like to see a new type of prim option: the privacy prim.
In essence, this would have two functions:
1. Block any avatar not on the "approved" list, or block avatars on the "Denied" list.
2. Block the camera from any avatar outside the prim (or set of adjacent prims) from moving inside the prim.
3. Block scripted objects that don't belong to an approved avatar.
In reality, we have no privacy in Second Life. Anybody that is physically close enough can currently see inside of supposedly private quarters. You can also use the sit function to get into enclosed areas, getting around most security systems.
