Better way of setting permissions in a multiple prim object

Well. It's been about a year now since I've been on SL and it still drives me crazy that I have to manually set every single one of my scripts, one by one, the required permission in the planes I build. Wouldn't it be better if you were given an option to at all once set the object AND the scripts contained in the object the needed permissions alll at once instead of having to select every single script/wave/texture one by one in every prim just to set the perms?
