Set to Group

I came up with an idea you know how ppl always forget to change there group tag when they build and stuff Well what if there was a box they could check when they hit about land and if they are a member of that land group they would see a button that says set all my objects to group and if they click that button it sets all there objects to group.Not deeds them but just sets them.

I think this would be a great addition and all of the ppl that I have talked to about it agree.

This is real problem for people who belong to more than one land owning group.

Another way to skin this would be to have an option in Preferences, "Warn me if I create a non-group prim on my group's land".

Then, the moment that I create the first prim, it would let me know. This would also fix the other problem that happens where you've been building for a while and suddenly everything you've done gets autoreturned because you didn't set the group right.

Yes, please - any resonable solution to this problem - which I encounter daily - works for me.

Another thought. In preferences, a check box "Prims default to group on my group's land." This would only affect prims that are being rezzed. You could change the group after the prim is rezzed. Also, you could always uncheck this if you didn't want this behavior.
