Can there be some kind of event screening for event boards? Instead of your event being posted immediately, how about some checking. I saw this on today's event board:
something happend to my house now i am missing chuncks if someone could come help me replace them id be thank full!
THAT'S NOT AN EVENT. C'mon, let's take care of this.

I say do this, make the announcements automatic and the screening manual.
Having them both be manual just sucks up more time, but eliminating the unneeded manual work of announcements, and switching that time and manpower to screening, actualy makes the announcements work better.
And yeah I agree of course, some events are just rediculous.
