Am I the only one who thinks a daily granularity for transaction downloads is too much? I'd rather see it month-by-month. I suppose some of the big merchants or land barons would have a lot of transactions in a month, but I find it extremely tedious to have to download a file for every day. Perhaps allow both? And a way to page back faster than a day at a time please too!

I agree. The daily view on the web page or in-world is fine, but there's little point in downloading a spreadsheet with only one day's worth of data on it. Ideally you could set the dates of the pull for whatever granularity you want, but if that's too much work, I'd like the spreadsheet version to be month by month.

I'd like spreadsheets in monthly or yearly format. For me, a daily spreadsheet might have one transaction on it -- or it might not.

A bit of a gravedig. Sorry for for the discussion necromancy.
I fully agree. In its current state, the transaction history on the Account page is much less useful than it could be. Having to download 30 individual files to create a spreadsheet for an entire month is pretty clumsy. I would even settle for a weekly spreadsheet. I really hope that the web-based transaction viewer gets an overhaul. For anyone with more than two or three transactions a day, a more robust solution would be really, really appreciated. |
