OK. By default combat is off. You PAY for the ability to have combat on. You may ONLY attack other people with combat on. (They show as different color on mini-map) Once you pay to turn on combat it stays until you die.

Without combat on, you may not push or launch velocity weapons, etc. Major exceptions would be scripts on their owner's land so elevators and security systems work. At the same time, any scripted objects launched will not effect you at all.

This would stop a LOT of griefers right off. If you want to shoot each other... fine. Let the rest of us have fun in peace.

I don't see how it can be done. Disable push will rendered lots of cars, vehicles, and jetpacks useless all at once since all these scripts tend not to stay on the owner's land.

OK then... push and related scripts could still effect their own owner, but nobody else. That should still allow vehicles to work correctly, etc.

Griefers would just start using other tactics. I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head that don't involve llPushObject().

Unfortunately, as well-intentioned as some things are, they will never override the more loathful aspects of humanity (or lack of it).

Me too, and I can think of plenty of legitimate uses for llPushObject...

...whoa, deja vu.

(Actually my position is just a sales ploy for my up and coming career as a manufacturer of defence items for BIG L$!!!!!)
