I receive gifts in my home from time to time and have given a few on occassion. The problem is i can not pick up the gifts, i have to have the person come over my house..take them back into their inventory- then transfer them into my inventory.
It would be nice to have some type of feature where we could rez an object and transfer ownership to any specific avatar. Or just something similar to mod rights where both the current owner and future owner of the object can pick it up and be the new owner.
Ie. right click on object > edit > you get the "Current owner field" have a co ownerfield type thing as well where i could type in the avatars name, drop the gift at their house, and they would be the only ones able to pick it up and keep it. When they pick up the object I would no longer be owner.
It would also help with things like building. Sometimes i want an avatar to beable to mess with one of my objects, but if i go into friends menu and grant he or she modify rights, that person can come to my house and destroy it if they wanted. And i cant use the "Allow anyone to move/edit object" option because well, I wouldnt want to grant just anyone the right to mess with my objects.
