Speech effect colors

Just a thought... why are our speech effect "sparkles" always white when we have the ability to change our effect colors? If Avatars speech effect colors were the same as the rest of our effect colors it would make it easier to recognize whos talking, plus... I'm selfish and I want my speech effects to match! Just a thought.

Very nice idea. Sometimes I find myself on a white floor and cant read what is being said very well. It would be nice to be able to change the text color.

Press Ctrl-H to bring up chat history and you will see the text in a green background.

I think* Spider's speaking of the text-entry particle emissions, not the text itself. The particles are always white when you're typing chat text, even if you've set your effects to another color.

* "I think" is my way of avoiding any responsiblity even if I'm completely wrong.

I think Spider was too, but anywho, I agree. Sometimes the white particles are a tad annoying, but I see how they can be handy. Maybe an option to turn them off localy? Or off on objects but not avatars? Off on avatars but not objects? That would be nice, just to reduce that local kaboom some people get, 'specially on those antique graphics cards some people have.

lol, I read wrong, my apologies. But I still want colored text. I use chat history sometimes, but it is in a box and blocks view of surroundings and not as cool as having another color for chat text ;)

Long as it's local only, I have no problem with colored text.

I was reffering to the particle emissions... maybe changing the text color would be nice too buy I dont think its as important as the particles... also I love Darwin's idea about being able to turn them off or on, if not for avatars definitely for objects... or at very least change the speech particles color for objects.
