World Map Region Control

I think I remember a time when there weren't so many regions that the World Map Region Control seemed like a reasonable drop-down list.

Now however, the region list is so long, that I find it extremely difficult to find a region in the list...

I'd like to suggest that it should be changed into a combo-box, where we could type in the first characters of the region that we're looking for, and the list would pop up displaying only the regions that match that search criteria.

Actually, we used to be able to type in the name just fine, but apparently that allowed users to get into LiasonLand and other sims we're definitely not supposed to be in, and it was easier to remove the feature altogether than to create an exclusion list.

I definitely agree with this. A 700+ item dropdown list is terrible UI. A combo box would be much better.
