OK, the amout of duplicate feature vote proposals is ridiculous. Nokuma Strangelove, added 2 "AIM-like IM interface" proposals and Dweia Edo added yet another privacy proposal which has been done to death already. People, search the feature vote BEFORE you add a proposal SO IT'S NOT DUPLICATED! LL has yet to merge proposals (as far as I know) so you're just wasting your votes when you vote on something someone already proposed in another proposal.

I agree, check for duplication before making a proposal.
Also before voting, one might want to check for proposals that are either better or has more votes the one you are considering voting for. - Silly stuff below shrunken pending Eep's deleting or changing the post he made responding to my joke. The preceding post duplicates similar threads on the topic of duplicate proposals and should be moved into one of those threads to avoid needless duplication of threads against duplication. _____________________

Um, I searched for such threads but didn't find one SPECIFICALLY devoted to this topic. I just wanted to point out duplicate proposals specifically in its own thread.
