Anyone else think having the Second Life client query the server to if it's up and displaying the status would be a good thing? Eve Online does this, and it seems to work quite well. It also avoids the standard knee-jerk reaction to trying to log in, only to find the servers are down. Relatively minor thing, but sometimes it's the little things that can make the biggest difference ;)
