IM - better busy modes

Let's have IM modes that people can toggle between, in addition to the busy mode.
- accept all: works like normal IM
- accept none: IMs are disabled except for Lindens. Essentially busy mode.
- accept friends: only people with your calling card can IM you.

New unaccepted IM windows would be completely hidden until you chose to view them... not even showing up as tabs.

Not only would this be very useful, but I see this as becoming absolutely necessary. For one, more spammers are coming into SL and spamming events, etc. Also, for us shop-owners, we get a lot, a LOT of IMs about stuff and it would be nice to have a way not to be bothered.

I suggested this and a better AWAY STATE NOTIFICATION. I feel like an ass when I say "hey" and get "user is busy." and all that.

Yeah, and is there a way to temporarily disable Group Conference IMs?

I'd also like a way to go (AWAY) and stay that way without automatic-unaway. This used to be possible using a script back in the 1.2 days, but must have been "fixed" at some point. :(

I agree with this. I often come back from being away to find my avatar came back before I did. Then people think you're faking it... or just being rude (moi?! rude?!)
