Well as the subject says....
I would like a toggle to be able to actually click on alphas instead of whatever is behind them, it would be great, trust me, as a builder who uses lots of scripts where things need to be alpha well it's a big pain in the but when you can't select what you are working on without first going into edit mode on another object so you can select the invisible one...
heh ok that was verbose...
Basically I would like to see a toggle where we can switch on being able to select objects that you cant see, which by the way is also great for getting stuff off your land on occasion....
even worse though is trying to sit on something with an alpha and you park your butt like 30 meters PAST the object you are trying to click on.... fun at high altitude building I assure you....

Well, you have two options right now, both are a pain in the ass:
One is to go to View - Highlight Alpha, which will show all invisible and "alphad" objects, allowing you to select them, this does however turn them all red, and in highly alpha'd areas, and/or places with particles, and/or in the clouds (which are particles), this can be dreaded.
Two is to hold down Ctrl and then Right Click the object. This is annoying also to have to do as it used to be you could just right click on the object. Although this is easier than having to do the highlight alpha thing. Also be carefull because when you hold down Ctrl you'll notice you get the little Hand icon for a mouse cursor, and if you Left Click and drag some objects, they will move. So just be carefull on that.
