Please post serious proposals for ll to add to the MOTD pool.
Here's mine: Ghosts are deleted prims that everybody still sees. Please move objects away from stage areas before you delete them.

yeah that's what i thought. we'd rather just complain about ll's motd than offer a few alternatives for them to use. what a crock.

Here's one of my faves:
Remember that on Second Life, you are talking to fellow human beings. Feel free to say "Hello" and strike up conversation -- it may be the beginning of a wonderful friendship!"
A sort of fortune cookie approach would be cool -- orrr in addition to a MOTD, it'd show headlines of other relevant gridwide news, such as official Linden Announcements for those who don't come to the Forums. Like a blog-style feed which would be personally customizable.

A "sim" is a 16-acre server in Second Life. Every server has a name, and a rating (either PG or Mature). People, on the other hand, are called "Avatars". BTW, who writes the MOTDs?? Some of them are really, really funny.
