This Will Benifit All Ppl In Groups!!!

lemi know what you think, good or bad- i will still back my belief 100%!

The group menu and group interface and the group management and everything about the group need a little updates. First, there should be a way for the group members to donate to a "bank account" contained in the group's money tab (you know I mean a bank account as the thing that regular SL ppl keep their money in, except just the group as a whole holds it), and only the groups leader and the ppl the leader sets as treasurers or something can take out money.
Next, there should be a group speak, where the whole group can speak in a jointed channel private from everyone else.
Then, groups might have the choice (got this idea from guild wars and WOW)- for 100l- to have a cape and have their groups insignia on the back of it and color it and edit it to their liking. Because some ppl don't like wearing titles above their heads and a cape would be a nice alternative, without having to make one if you don’t know how to build and script.
Also, group owned land and protected parcels are soo easy to get through, you just fly up high and then go into their land (I have done it a bunch of times on accident). So there should be some free security devices that stop that (I bought one from power products to protect my land).
One last thing, it is really hard to know if someone is IM ing you sometimes, like if you are hard at work and stuff you don't notice the little sound and the button come up so in groups and in IM total there should be a little ringer button that you push in the IM window. this button makes a ringing noise and stuff, to stop the losers that try to annoy ppl you can choose to turn this function off in the IM menu or something like that.

Those are the ideas for groups and I think they should really be considered. Thx for reading this long thing

Well I'm not certain if all of those are particularly relevant to groups as such, but here we go:

1. Group 'fund'
Yes, would like to see this in as I was surprised it wasn't already!

2. Group speak
I think the ability to IM group members is precisely this? I'd love to see a more refined way to make announcements to all group members though, rather than creating a vote when no vote is required to say "Hey everybody we're short on cash to keep our land!" or whatever.

3. Group Capes
Well, I'm not sure this is needed as it's perfectly possible to create a cape or other group specific item (collars for example) as it is. Just make it unique to your group and don't sell it to anyone else! There may be shops out there already which tailor-make items for groups and give you copy rights to hand it on to group members. You can then make the copies uncopyable if you're wary of members giving the items out.
However, a way of assigning such an item to a group so players don't need to contact you for it would be neat, e.g part of the group info pane. They could then tick a box "Wear when group is active" so when you switch to this group you automatically wear that item.

4. Evasion of land restrictions
This IMO requires a more intuitive solution that makes security script uneccessary. I have one idea that would actually make land restrictions redundant, by basically putting those options into a special type of prim which you can place on any area you'd like to restrict (thus allowing people to still visit your garden or wander up to your front door for example). 5. Improved IM notification
This would be nice. I think just having a few more options for the "IM Received" button would suit, like you could have it so that it always appers above other windows, and flashes red to show new messages. But you should be able to set when this flashes, so I would personally have it flash if an avatar has IMed me, but if it was done via a group it would not flash.
