I'm just dying for this feature. When you call llGiveMoney(), there's no way to tell if the money actually got there. There are so many nifty things I can do with GOM if I can just get confirmation of payment. An event fired when the payment happened would be ok too if that's easier for LL.
Anyone else curious about this?

I'm all for ANY new event that lets scripts know what is going on around them. Too many things just fall through the cracks because scripts can't detect them.

Similarly, I'd like to see llGiveInventory() have some kinda event return when accepted/declined.
I'm curious how give money could be missed? Or would this be for strange situations like when the sim crashes during the transaction?

I totaly support this, real systems support transaction authentication. llGiveMoney, llGetInventory, llGiveInventoryList should all return keys. Then there should be something like an event "transaction(key id, list details)" (supposed the dataserver event could be used instead) then you could port all the transaction data to a server and track which transactions go through and which fail.
A give inventory transaction would register with a details list, detailing the all the objects that were accepted and all that were declined (and which objects transfer dialogs timed out). For a money transfer details would return what the set amount of data that was supposed to be transfered and how much was actualy transfered, also the key of the agent the money was to be transfered to.
