Group Land Ownership

Recently I joined a small group that was just getting started, they wanted to build a mall and needed land. I was made officer and donated my land to the group. Well, the founder of the group took it upon himself to claim the land as his own and decided to leave the group. I was advised to file an abuse report and send an email to Linden customer support.

Needless to say i was very disappointed in there reply. It seems that as an officer he did not violate any community standards. I wonder what some of the larger groups think of this.

While stewing over the event of our illustrious founder, I came up with a possible solution to this little convenience officers of groups have. What I propose is that if anyone donates land to a group, the only one that can sell or reclaim the land is the person who donated in the first place. Officers should be able to have access to all other options but that. It would protect the group and the person who donated the land.
There may be some glitches in the proposal, so any comments and or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Add "You can only release or sell as much land as you have donated."

Other than that, SIGNED.

I would say, allow only Officers to use full land allotment of a group. Any other members can only use the group allotment equal to what they gave.

Otherwise you'd take out the whole point of group allotments. If thats what you meant, sorry for repeating.

No one should be an officer in a group unless you fully trust them.
