numbers of characters left (creating signature in User CP)

Greetings.

I would like something simple established in the User CP's Edit Signature tab.
I have seen it on many well known sites such as eBay, etc, so I know it is possible.

Right now we have 400 characters aloud.
(((Wich btw, I would like to see raised, since we now have images enabled and signatures can look way more interesting, I own 8 shops and I cannot make it look like what I want since I don't have space left, etc, anyways...)))

It would be nice to see how many characters we have left when typing.
As simple as that.
Just very useful for people like me with a little more mmh, "advanced" siggy.

Yeha it does, and I actually *do* see a cilckable image in your signature! =)

Ah, looks like the default options are a bit silly.

I like the suggestion though, I know I find it annoying sometimes!

I'd also like to tag on that it'd be nice to have larger avatars, 50 x 50 is tiny for a 19.5k file-allowance, and the 'author' column is usually around 150 anyway, 90 x 90 is better IMO.

Yeah, usually I prefer bigger allowance for avatars too, but not in SL. We already have imgs in the sigs, and some people have rather large ones... It would quickly become clustered with crap like many other forums where it's all about your forum art.
Maybe just allow a better resolution for the 50x50... But altho, if you have Photoshop CS2, there is an option called "Save For Web" and it lets you save at a minimal weight, but with very good resolution... Ever since I learned that, I don't care.
