SL already supports ogg streams - I have streamed ogg files with no issues.

That's odd -- I can't get mine to work. MP3 and MP3Pro streams work fine, but as soon as I switch the encoder over to OGG, the stream stops, and as soon as I press "Play" in SL, it immediately stops and doesn't even appear to be trying to play anything.

interesting, When you do go to Le Cadre, do you have an Ogg Vorbis Codec installed on you comp already?
 If not, then you know sl does it internally_____________________

Yes Wicked Karma Radio uses OGG/Vorbis and streams into SL just fine.
