I think it would be a nice addition to control walking with a mouse's scroll wheel and zoom by holding the scroll wheel mouse button down while scrolling. It'd be a nice touch that'd make the already quite intuitive interface that much more intuitive.

Interesting idea, thou i'm not really fond of it, why not switch zooming and walking around? So as to not change the current interface.
