For the purpose of very short term rental of resources of some kind, a bit like the way wi-fi access operates at airports: groups where a) the manager can set a rate in L$ per hour for membership and b) avs can walk up to a dispenser to gain rights...
Or, looked at another way, a script that reads the join date/time of all of a group's members, and unjoins them, run by the manager.
...possible?

Isn't this what the "sell pass" land control function is for?

yers... though groups may have scattered resources. I was thinking about the analogue of wi-fi access points (or drinks vending machines)...

Scriptable group invites/ejects would be better... but there are technical hurdles there.
Another option that has been suggested is group join passwords (which can be given out by scripted vendors).

From: Angel Fluffy Another option that has been suggested is group join passwords (which can be given out by scripted vendors). I e-mailed Kelly Linden about the latter as an alternative to scripted invites, but haven't got any response yet to find out if it was even noticed It would be extremely trivial to implement since it only needs to come up if someone is attempting to join in the first place.
