Point one: The ability to adjust otherwise symmetrical values, like the length or size of body parts. Say I want one teg tiny, and the other normal length, so I can add a pegleg object I've built, without resorting to ugly hacks like the invisible prims. Or, as another example, the ability to make one limb muscle bound, and the other scrawny. Independant hand size etc. You could make a lock checkbox, left, right, for the sliders at the top on the appearence interface. The lock check makes both the same, like we are used to. Left/Right only checkbox for altering that one part. This would make life a lot easier for AV people who run into difficulties achieving thier vision, without the ethical implications of dealing with griefers making AV's invisible.
Point Two: The ability to "Lock" an individual joint, with an animation override. Say I click a box that says "Head", my AV's head will no longer move. I can make a neck brace for my AV. Say I click "left lower leg" and "Right Lower Leg", I now goosestep. This sort of thing would again, really help with design issues pretaining to object attachment, showthrough, etc.
Is there any obvious reason why these things can't be done easily, and do other people see the merit of them as I do?
Thanks!
