This is something that may have been mentioned before. I'd like a small button somewhere where I could hit, and return to whatever place I was previously.

Something like this could be very useful when griefers knock you three sims away. Also, after a crash or relog, I would like to be able to "start in last location" not the nearest telehub to your last location.

I endorse the original poster's suggestion.

I'm not sure if this could be used in the griefing example above. The original suggestion, as I understand it, would be to have the system remember the last place you were, prior to teleporting to a new location. (Whether from a landmark. map, or offered teleport) This would allow you to quickly return to where you teleported from. I don't think the original idea would track your current position continuously, allowing you to teleport back to a location after being pushed. Even if it did track your current location constantly, a push physically moves you, and would update your last location as you fly to where ever you're being pushed. Using the TP Back at that point would just teleport you to where you landed after being pushed. I could be misunderstanding the feature suggestion though.

Not a bad suggestion.... I fully endorse.

Especially from a "being griefed" perspective.... although usually when I get knocked 3 sims away, my TP's are then borked & I've got to relog anyway.

Ohhhhh good one. I had that in another game (There), to undo last tp, and it was wonderful!

Undo last teliport would be nice. Another ideais to have 2 set places like Home and the second call it work. That youcab set to anyplace in SL. If it a second home or Group land or your shop/store. All three would be GREAT! I haveseen this question before. lots of people want it. We never get an explanation why this one is always overlooked.

I ask if the lindens do monitor these "other forums besides the hotline" Then Please explain why this is Something that can not be done. If not then whay can we not have this?

I like the idea, but I've got a question: exactly where is the "last location"? Is it the last point you teleported to before making the current teleport? Or is it the spot you last teleported from?

it's the last spot you teleported from. we'd use it to go back and forth between two points.

the real solution, though, is to just us teleport directly to any location on the map using the marker or a landmark.

Thanks for bringing this up again, Rock- i actually did suggest it a few weeks ago in a thread regarding telehubs, (where it was heroically ignored).

Gee, (yes, i said 'gee' cause i really mean this) i would LOVE a 'return' or a 'back' button that we could return to the last place we were. Not a hub, but the very spot we last teleported from. I run all over the place, doing this and that on builds and would like to be able to get back quickly to what i was doing when i got tp'd away to fix a wall or move a lampost.
Maybe stick it on the Map window under "Go Home"??

Maybe something for 1.6.1?????pleeeeeeze!!!!

I hope by agreeing with you here it does not get deleted.
