Auto Format Script Editor

I've been learning C++ in real life. I was using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 and discovered a neat feature:

You can select part of the code and choose a menu item that automatically puts in the correct intenting and such. I was thinking, what if the in-game script editor had a auto formatting option. It would make it easier to read long code and to debug it. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

No, because then you're going to get holy wars over the "correct" formatting style: ANSI vs K&R vs Linux vs GNU vs Java vs....

Ezhar made the config file for EditPlus, though it seems it was wiped out in the deletion. Maybe he will see this and repost it :D

All my stuff is available here.

Also, I'm still working on LSL support for a completely free editor. Yes, I'm a slacker.

Huh? Well, if we do ever agree, I'd use this for reading my messy scripts.

You could do it the same as in Gideon (also known as KDevelop), you get _options_ for your holy war needs. :)

Mind you, I dont tend to use it much, only when I get a piece of abysmal code from someone else. (Gideon seems to handle LSL pretty well actually, I sometimes copy/paste code in/out so it can be read, when it truly is terrible.)

Yeah, Ezhar! Hurry up on that... whatever the hell it's called. When I'm scripting in SL, I can really only use about 90% of ONE monitor. I should be able to use 100% of one and just walk around SL in the other.

Editplus sucks. :p

As you might remember, Catherine, I already gave you the stuff I had made then and you failed to install it properly. Which is why I thought I'd better pack it all into an installer. Which is why it's taking so long ;)
