This morning I was setting up some new merchandise to sell in my store. I had nine shiny new items, which only differed from each other in color. So for each one, the box and it's name would be different, to reflect the contents, and the contents of each box would have the same note card and card dispenser script, plus one object in there that was different, but which shared with the others the same properties for copy, mod, transfer, share with group, for sale, price... you get the idea.
I had to repeatedly set up the box, drop in the item, and then set all those properties for the price, copy/mod/resell, etc. How much more useful it would be if I could set one object up, then copy the properties, and paste those properties onto the new object. I could then edit the name field for the item, and it would be ready.
Doesn't that sound useful?
