Wouldn't it be nice if we could organize our 2nd lives a little better. We have the ability to have a notification for events, but what about the ability to schedule private appointments with individuals that you could set a reminder for...wouldn't that be helpful. Someone wants to meet with you, so you say let's meet next Tuesday at 6pm. One or both of you will forget. It would be nice to be able to set yourself a reminder.

Also, why don't we have a calculator in our user interface? That would be soooo handy.

Interactive appointment calendar?? Am I just going off the deep end?

And while I'm here, I'll say it again, can we have our Friend list called Contacts and split into 3 categories? Friends, Acquaintances, and Business. New friends would be added at the Acquaintance level and we could promote them to business or friend. We could control the level of contact w/each group. Lots of people offer me friendship, but very few become what I would consider friends. But I, having dealt w/rejection issues my entire life, do not reject an offer of friendship, and rarely remove someone from my list.

Just some thoughts on a boring Friday afternoon.

Technically you can do all this with scripted HUD items, I dunno what there is out there that does it currently, but it could be a niche :)

Every single time I hear this idea come up again, it reminds me of this.

I have enough HUD items I currently wear, soon my entire screen would be filled with HUDs. These are basic enough ideas, I think they are worthy of being part of the UI. Of course as with everything people should have the option to use them or not, and they should not interfere with any of the current functionality.

Well it depends on the HUD item itself I guess, but a lot of items I use I have edited to have a little bar that you can click on to show/hide the HUD item, meaning they can be neatly minimised against the edges of my screen until I want to use them. I dunno.
